We are closing in on the end of the winter/spring session of classes.  Final exams will be held the first week of April.  As we bring this session to a close, we will have taught Acts, Hebrews and History of Israel 2.  The Institute is still attracting good interest.  Ten students were involved in these studies this session.

We do not plan a summer school session this summer.  We will offer a short course on the Gospel of John.  Dr. Willie Nettle will teach this short course.

It will be held on July 24-25 and July 31-Aug 1. Specific times will appear in the next issue, or call me at the number given below. Make plans now to attend.

We exist to train preachers and to help those already preaching to further their knowledge of God’s Word.  Of course we encourage anyone who wants to come and take these courses for credit or audit.  And we do have a number of audit students.  All of these courses are without charge.   Audit students will also be given opportunity to purchase the text books if so desired.  Our classes are especially designed for the preacher who is secularly employed.  They can maintain their job while also improving their understanding of God’s word.

When the fall classes begin in September, we will be offering “Survey of the Old Testament” on Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.  Dr. Roger Hines will teach this course.  On Saturday mornings we will offer two courses.  Will Anderson will teach “Christian Evidences” from 9:00 – 11:15.  Dr. Ray Paseur will teach the “Pentateuch” from 11:15 – 1:15.

We encourage you to come visit our campus, sit in one of our classes and see firsthand what is taking place at the Magnolia Bible Institute.  Of course, we are always seeking the support of those who like to encourage the training and teaching of gospel preachers and other teachers of the word. If you want more information, please give me a call, 601 562-4226.  Your prayers are much appreciated. MM
